Tudor Revival Fireplace

September 29, 2016

This is the living room of a Tudor revival home I photographed recently. The space around the fireplace was a little crowded, but I was working alone and the furniture was heavy (and the lovely floors did not need new scratches!), so rearranging things wasn't an option. Still, I thought the fireplace was deserving of some extra attention, so I zoomed in tighter for this vignette shot. I just love the detail in that stonework. Or are those tiles or bricks? I'm really not sure...does anyone reading this happen to know?
